IBPC QATAR & PHARMEXCIL jointly hosted the Qatar Edition of the online INDO-GCC CONNECT event, and inaugurated the INDO–QATAR PHARMA BUSINESS MEET on 9th December 2021, aimed at bringing the Indian Pharma Industry and Qatari Pharma Regulators and importers together on one platform, to discuss Opportunities & Challenges for the Indian Pharmaceutical industry in QATAR.
Mr. Uday Bhaskar, Director General Pharmexcil, gave the Welcome Address.
H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar, gave the Opening Address.
Mr. Jaffer Us Sadik, President, IBPC Qatar, welcomed the delegates and participants.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hussein Babiker, Registration & Drugs Pricing Section Head, Pharmacy & Drug Control Department, MOPH, Qatar, made a Presentation on Import & Registration Guidelines.
Ms. Lakshmi Prasanna, Director Regulatory Affairs Pharmexcil, made a Presentation on the Indian Pharma Industry.
Guest Speaker Mr. KP Ashraf, MD Wellcare Group, spoke about Potential Trade Opportunities in Qatar for Indian Pharmaceutical Companies, and the way forward for Joint cooperation between India and Qatar.
Guest Speaker Mr. Essam Faragulla, GM EBN SINA Medical, spoke on Emerging Trends in the Pharma Industry.
Guest Speaker Mr. EP Abdul Rahman, MD Care n Cure Group, made a Presentation on Nutraceuticals and Medical Devices business in Qatar.
This was followed by an online Buyer Seller Meet.
The event was jointly anchored by Mr Synesh Cherukutty of KPFQ and Ms Lakshmi Prasanna of Pharmexcil.
