On the sidelines of the visit of the Honorable Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu and his accompanying delegation to Qatar, the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC QATAR) organized its first IBPC ANNUAL CONNECT event at the Sheraton Grand on 5th June 2022. The new Corporate Identity and Website of IBPC was launched during the event.
IBPC Coordinating Officer Angeline Premalatha (Councellor Political & Commerce at Embassy of India) welcomed members and delegates, then along with H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal (Ambassador of India to Qatar) accompanied the Honorable Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pawar, and CMD Lulu Group International Padma Shri Dr. M.A Yusuff Ali, to launch IBPC’s new corporate Identity and new Website at a Gala Event which was followed by a Networking Dinner. Members of the high profile visiting Indian delegation including government agencies FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM were amongst those present to witness the launch.
Master of Ceremonies Hisham Abdul Raheem introduced IBPC Chairman JK Menon and President Jaffer Us Sadik, who spoke about the organization’s long term goals, the new interactive website which engages its members and visitors, as well as the significance of rebranding IBPC to meet the challenges of the future while maintaining its core values deeply rooted in cementing commercial ties with the State of Qatar since 1999.
Qatar Financial Center, INVEST QATAR and INVEST INDIA enlightened the audience on the ways to establish and enhance bilateral investment and trade between Qatar and India under the leadership and guidance of HH Emir Sh. Tamim Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.
