The Indian Business & Professionals Council (IBPC) in association with the Federation of Indian Nurses Qatar (FINQ) organized their 2nd Awareness Program by their “Converging Care” Group with a topic “Your Safety is in your hands” on 14th May 2022 at the IICC Kanjani Hall, in which more than 75 members actively participated in a Hybrid session, either in-person or remotely online.

Chief Guest Amal Al Harbi, Director of Nursing at NMED, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), congratulated IBPC & FINQ for organizing such an awareness program for the public which demonstrates IBPC’s CSR & social commitment to the community.

IBPC President Jaffer Us Sadiq commended the series of initiatives, which aim to engage and educate members and the community at large.

IPFQ President Reena Philip & Past President Bejoy Chacko hosted the event, where HMC Senior Nurse Nijaab led the Theory Session on the topic “Physical Safety-Basic Life Support”, while HMC Certified Counsellor Divya Dsouza led the session on Mental Safety “De-stress your stress”.

FINQ also felicitated 10 senior Nurses on the occasion of the International Nurses Day.

The Healthcare Focus Group brings together seven IBPC affiliated organizations, viz. Qatar Association of Indian Dentists (QAID), Federation of Indian Nurses Qatar (FINQ), Kerala Pharmacist Forum Qatar (KPFQ), Indian Physiotherapy Forum Qatar (IPFQ), United Nurses of India-Qatar (UNIQ), Indian Doctors Club Qatar (IDC), and Indian Association of Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (INPSIRE).
