IBPC announced its new Executive Committee and a new Board of Governors to its members, the Indian Business Community, as well as to the Indian Professionals in Qatar.  A ceremony was held at the IICC Kanjani Hall to make this announcement in the presence of Chief Guest and IBPC Patron H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal (Ambassador of India to Qatar), IBPC Coordinating Officer Angeline Premalatha (Counsellor – Political & Commerce at Embassy of India), Community Leaders, and Presidents of IBPC Associated Organizations. Outgoing President Azim Abbas handed control to Incoming President Jaffer Us Sadik and wished the new Team every success. President Sadik acknowledged his new responsibility and laid out the plans for a promising yet challenging task, which will be carried out under the guidance of a new Board of Governors led by Chairman J.K. Menon.  IBPC aims to take Indo-Qatar Business and Trade Relations to new heights, while supporting the cause and improving the profiles of Indian Businesspersons and Professionals in Qatar.  CA Rupalakshmi Setty was the Master of Ceremony at the event. Ambassador Mittal thanked the outgoing committee for a stellar performance especially during the challenging Pandemic, and congratulated the incoming committees for taking up their honorary positions in the revamped and restructured organization, with ambitions of a sizeable increase in the Indo-Qatar Trade, initiating more Joint Ventures between Indian and Qatari manufacturers and service providers, and fostering closer ties with the Qatari Business Community.
