IBPC started its operations in Doha in the year 1999 under the aegis of the Embassy of India and is registered as a professional not-for-profit body with the Qatar Financial Center (QFC). An Executive Committee reporting to the Board of Governors under the guidance of the Embassy of India and the patronage of H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to Qatar, helps manage a platform to engage, encourage and empower Indian Business Persons and Professionals by creating enrichment opportunities, and enhancing Indo-Qatari Trade and Professional relations.
